Gujarat Panchayat Seva Selection Board, Gandhinagar through Advertisement No:- 10/2021-22 Gram Panchayat Secretary (Talati Cum Mantri) Cadre Competitive Written Examination was held on 07-05-2023 from 12:30 to 13:30 hours. The provisional result of the candidates appearing in the above competitive examination is placed on the website of the board https://gpssb.gujarat.gov.in, from which the candidates can view and print their marks, which the survey candidates are advised to take note of. According to the above subject and reference, it is to be informed that the process of Aadhaar Number-Bank Account Linking and Aadhar DBT Enablement of the students as per the advanced guidelines of the Government of India for Centrally Awarded Post Matric and Pre-Matric Scholarship Schemes for Scheduled Caste Students of the State is to be completed immediately. In this regard, instructions have also been given by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department through video conference with the district officials of the Education Department on 23/12/2022 and 31/12/2022. Also circulars with guidelines and telephonic information have also been given to all principals by the district offices of scheduled caste welfare.
2. In this regard, on 09/05/2023 Chief Secretary, Gujarat State as Chairman In the presence of District Collectors regarding linking Aadhaar number of students with bank account
The meeting was held. According to the presentation made by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment in this meeting
Total: 1,59,480 students out of 2,49,213 students under Prematric Scholarship Scheme
Aadhaar number bank account leaked while 89,733 students' Aadhaar number linked to bank account
have to do. Also out of total: 1,51,997 students under Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Aadhaar numbers of 1,23,019 students have been leaked while Aadhaar numbers of 28,978 students have to be linked with bank accounts. This matter is very serious.
3. Hence, keeping in view the seriousness of the matter, students who are eligible for Post Matric and Pre-Matric Scholarship Schemes through DBT are scheduled caste students of the state whose bank account is not linked with Aadhaar card and Aadhar is not DBT Enabled. It is advised to compile the list of such students and organize a meeting with the branch manager of the affiliated bank and the principal of the school.
