The following 6152 candidates are declared provisionally qualified in the
Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam conducted by the Gujarat
Public Service Commission on 21.03.2021 for the Advt. No. 26/2020-21, Gujarat Administrative Service, Class-1, Gujarat Civil Service, Class 1 & 2 and Gujarat State Municipal Chief Officers' Service, Class-2. The candidates are declared provisionally qualified for appearing in the Main Written Examination, subject to their fulfilling all conditions of eligibility of Advt. No. 26/2020-21.
In accordance with the rules of the examination, all these candidates have to apply again for admission to the main examination in the detailed application form, as per the instruction of the commission.
2. Details of Category-wise Qualifying standard (Cut-off Marks) and Category wise total of qualified candidates are shown below:
Result : GPSC Class I & II
ગુજરાત જાહેર સેવા આયોગ દ્વારા GPSC Class I & II ની પ્રાથમિક પરીક્ષાનું પરીણામ જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. કુલ ૬૧૫૨ ઉમેદવારો મુખ્ય લેખીત પરીક્ષા માટે કવોલીફાઈ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.
અત્રે ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે આયોગ દ્વારા કુલ જગ્યાઓ જેવી કે -
નાયબ કલેક્ટર/નાયબ જિલ્લા વિકાસ અધિકારીની કુલ ૧૫,
નાયબ પોલીસ અધિક્ષકની (Dy.S.P.) કુલ ૨૦,
જિલ્લા/નાયબ રજીસ્ટ્રારની કુલ ૦૩,
સહાયક રાજ્યવેરા કમિશ્નરની કુલ ૪૨,
નાયબ નિયામક (અનુ. જાતિ કલ્યાણ) ની કુલ ૦૧;
એમ સંયુક્ત રીતે વર્ગ-૧ ની કુલ ૮૧ જગ્યાઓ
તથા સેક્શન અધિકારી ( સચિવાલય )ની ૯,
સેક્શન અધિકારી (વિધાનસભા) ની કુલ ૦૧,
મદદનીશ જિલ્લા રજીસ્ટ્રારની કુલ ૦૭,
રાજ્ય વેરા અધિકારીની કુલ ૭૪,
જિલ્લા નિરીક્ષક જમીન દફ્તરની કુલ ૨૫,
સરકારી શ્રમ અધિકારીની કુલ ૨૫,
સમાજ કલ્યાણ અધિકારી (વિ.જા.) વિચરતીની કુલ ૦૨ એમ સંયુક્ત રીતે વર્ગ-૨ ની કુલ ૧૪૩ જગ્યાઓ એમ સંકલિત કુલ ૨૨૪ જગ્યાઓ માટે ૧૫/૧૧/૨૦૨૦ ના રોજ જાહેરાત પ્રસિદ્ધ કરવામાં આવી હતી.
પ્રાથમિક કસોટી ૨૧ માર્ચ, ૨૦૨૧ ના રોજ યોજવામાં આવી હતી.
મુખ્ય લેખીત પરીક્ષા ૧૯, ૨૧ અને ૨૩ જુલાઈના રોજ યોજનામાં આવશે.
મુખ્ય લેખીત પરીક્ષામાં કુલ ૬ પ્રશ્નપત્રો હશે. પ્રશ્નપત્ર-૧ : ગુજરાતી; પ્રશ્નપત્ર-૨ : અંગ્રેજી, પ્રશ્નપત્ર-૩ : નિબંધ; પ્રશ્નપત્ર-૪ : સામાન્ય અભ્યાસ-૧; પ્રશ્નપત્ર-૫ : સામાન્ય અભ્યાસ-૨ અને પ્રશ્નપત્ર-૬ : સામાન્ય અભ્યાસ-૩.
અંગ્રેજી/ગુજરાતી ભાષાના પ્રશ્નપત્રો જે-તે ભાષામાં જયારે તે સિવાયના પ્રશ્નપત્રો ઉમેદવાર પોતાની મનપસંદ ભાષામાં આપી શકશે. એક જ પ્રશ્નપત્રમાં બે પ્રશ્નો જુદી-જુદી ભાષામાં લખી શકાશે.
મુખ્ય પરીક્ષાનું પરિણામ નવેમ્બર-૨૦૨૧ માં જાહેર થશે. જગ્યાની સામે આશરે ત્રણ ગણા ઉમેદવારોને ઇન્ટરવ્યૂમાં બોલાવવામાં આવશે. ઈન્ટરયુઝ ડીસેમ્બરમાં થશે અને આખરી પરિણામ ૩૧ ડીસેમ્બર, ૨૦૨૧ પહેલા પ્રસિદ્ધ કરવામાં આવશે.

(1) Cut-off marks means marks obtained by the last candidate in merit list (arrangement of total marks obtained in descending order) of the concerned category.
(2) As per Final Answer key declared for Paper-1 (CSP-1), Seven (7) questions are cancelled. Therefore, it is decided by the Commission to equally distribute the marks of cancelled questions among 193 questions on pro-rata basis, as such evaluation has been carried out by treating each question with 1.036 mark for the right answer and (-) 0.311 mark for the wrong/multiple encoded/blank answer for Paper-1 in this result
(3) Paper-2 (CSP-02), Five (5) questions are cancelled. Therefore, it is decided by the Commission to equally distribute the marks of cancelled questions among 195 questions on pro-rata basis, as such evaluation has been carried out by treating each question with 1.026 mark for the right answer and (-) 0.308 mark for the wrong/multiple encoded/blank answer for Paper-2 in this result.
(4) In the cases, when Cut-off marks of reserved category candidates is higher than general category candidates, Cut-off marks of reserved category candidates required to be lowered down to the Cut-off marks of General category candidates.
Accordingly, in this result, Cut-off marks of General Category (Male) is 118.47 marks whereas Cut-off marks of EWS (Male), SEBC (Male) and SC (Male) Category is 150.66, 141.09 and 135.51 respectively. Therefore, Cut-off marks of EWS (Male), SEBC (Male) and SC (Male)
26/2020-21 Provisional Result (Prelim)
Category is lowered down to 118.47 marks which is equivalent to the Cut-off marks of General (Male) category
Cut-off Marks of General (Female) Category is 99.00 marks whereas Cut off marks of EWS (Female), SEBC (Female) and SC (Female) category is 116.82, 106.45 and 109.43 respectively. Therefore, Cut-off marks of EWS (Female), SEBC (Female) and SC (Female) category is lowered down to 99.00 marks which is equivalent to the Cut-off marks of the General (Female) Category.
(5) As per the instruction of circular No. CRR-1096-2213-G.2, Dated: 31.08.2004 of General Administration Department, result of the widow candidates is prepared after addition of Bonus Mark. Bonus marks is 5% marks of the obtained marks by the candidate.
(6) Cut-off Marks of the respective categories are reduced upto 10% of the regular cut-off of the respective categories to consider candidates belonging to PH category in cases when adequate number of candidates are not selected from PH category.

Instructions and Process for How to Apply

Online application made by the candidates is Editable till the last time of advertisement. Hence candidates should apply only in one advertisement. If there is any mistake in filling the details / information in the online application, go to “Edit” option and correct the details. Not to make a new application. - The Commission shall have the unfettered right to change the number of places of all advertisements published by the Commission. - Considering the number of candidates, the preliminary test will be taken through OMR / CERT (Computer Based Recruitment Test). Educational Qualification, Experience etc. will be as per the detailed advertisement published on the Commission's website https: // gpsc gujarat.gov.in and htps: // gpsc - ojas gujarat gov.in. -21 and 31 / 2020-91 advertisement will have 200 questions of 300 marks in the preliminary test related to the subject. The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of total marks by calculating 50% of the marks obtained out of 200 marks in the primary test and 50% of the marks obtained out of 100 marks in face to face interview. That is, 30-50% weightage will be given for the marks obtained from 200 and 130 marks of preliminary test and face-to-face interview respectively. 8% in the preliminary test in the above advertisements (for SC and ST candidates - among the above advertisements, advertisement numbers: 09, 16 / 2060-61 to 8 / 2020-91, 16, 20, 32 to 31/30, 40) 50 marks for the marks obtained out of 400 marks in the preliminary test in 20/2050-61 and candidates will not be considered for face to face interview). Fifty percent weightage will be given. In the preliminary test, 100 questions of 100 marks will be for general study and 200 questions of 200 marks will be for the related subject.
