A big announcement has been made by the Gujarat Government regarding the increasing number of coronary infections in the state. If any Government Employee is infected with Corona, they will be given 10 days leave

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has taken an important and sensitive decision for the state government employees - fixed salary employees and contract employees. Such employees will be given a special 10-day leave if they become infected.
The Chief Minister has also decided that even if the leave of a government employee is not credited, he will be given this special leave. The benefit of this 10 days leave will be given to fixed salary employees and all types of contract employees with salary.

TAT examination is mandatory for appointment of principals and teachers in minority educational institutions of the state *: - * Minister of Education *

 Secondary-North Basic School approved by any department other than Education Department will also be considered as 'Recognized School' from now on *




Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama during the discussion of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Reforms Bill in the Legislative Assembly clearly stated that from now on the appropriate qualification along with TAT examination for appointment of principals and teachers will also be implemented in minority educational institutions in the state *


He added that the bill contains amendments consistent with the Supreme Court and the Gujarat High Court's occasional judgment on the implementation of proper qualifications for the appointment of principals and teachers in minority educational institutions *.


Giving more details in this regard, Education Minister Shri Chudasama added that the process of selection of candidates in government and subsidized private secondary and higher secondary schools is being implemented in the state through a centralized system


But such selection procedure is carried out without considering the important marks of the TAT examination prescribed by the minority institutions to meet the qualification for selection as a teacher *.


 He added that as a result, the state government as well as grant-in-aid schools do not maintain the prescribed standards for quality selection of teachers and as the selection process is not based on the results of TAT examination in minority institutions, quality principals, teachers cannot be selected in a neutral manner *


Citing the Supreme Court's judgment in this regard, the Education Minister said that the court has made it clear that no compromise should be made with the quality of education in the national interest irrespective of whether the educational institution is run by a minority or a majority. The government's decision to set up a regulatory body for the appointment of teachers does not interfere in the administration of minority institutions.


The Education Minister further added that the Gujarat High Court has also issued a judgment in 2017 directing to make necessary amendments in Section 30 (a) of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Act-19.


Accordingly, earlier in minority schools, the Board of Governors conducted the recruitment process without considering the educational qualifications of the candidates and taking into account the TAT examination marks.


Now, as a result of the passage of this amendment bill, the same centralized selection process for teacher-principal candidates in government and aided private secondary higher secondary schools in the state will now be implemented in minority institutions. Mr. Chudasama added.


He added that the availability of quality principals and teachers even in minority institutions would improve the existing quality of education of minorities as well as brighten the strength and opportunities of the students of such institutions.


Regarding another provision of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Reforms Bill, the Education Minister said that the definition of currently recognized schools includes only the secondary or post-primary schools recognized by the Director of Education of the State of Gujarat or the officer authorized by him for this purpose.


According to the amendment bill, such a recognized school will now be considered as a recognized school, namely the Department of Education of the State Government or any other department or, as the case may be, a recognized secondary school or a North Basic School recognized by an official authorized by such department.

Moderate decrease in corona case after 3 days

 In Gujarat, for the first time in the last 3 days, the number of active cases has crossed 11,000.

 The sequence of continuous additions has finally stopped.  There are currently 11.4 active cases in the last 5 years while 13 patients are ventilators

 In one hour, 450 new cases of corona were reported.  Thus, on.  4 from Surat in last 4 hours, Ahmedabad-

 Compared to Saturday, there was a modest decrease in the number of corona cases, from Rajkot to 2, while from Vadodara to 1 in total.

COVID-19 is the disease caused by a new coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. WHO first learned of this new virus on 31 December 2019, following a report of a cluster of cases of ‘viral pneumonia’ in Wuhan, People’s Republic of China.

Mentions Hardik bowled well in the last game and came back well to bowl nicely. Praises Rishabh Pant for showing maturity. Mentions that Thakur has done well before also and he has shown that he can bat also. Kohli also says that the team is almost ready for the T20 World Cup.


Bhuvneshwar Kumar is named the Man of the Match. He says that he is happy with his performance. Adds that his body is good and he is not facing any injury problems now. Mentions that he was confident as he was playing some domestic games. Further says that it is good to contribute to your team's win. Kumar also says that getting a wicket gives you confidence and you can try new things.


Eoin Morgan, England skipper, says that this series was very predictive. Adds that the wickets were good to bat on throughout the series. Mentions that their bowling was not that good. Further says that Indian middle-order was good. Morgan also says that today was not their day as their batsmen tried but it was too much for them. Mentions that Adil Rashid gives them an extra option in the Powerplay with the ball. Praises Dawid Malan for his excellent innings.


Hardik Pandya is down for an interview. He says that he is fine-tuning his action. Adds that it is difficult but he is coping well with his bowling. Earlier in the game, King Kohli surprised everyone by bringing him on to open along with the Hit-Man. Both of them stitched 94-runs for the first wicket. When Rohit was going full throttle Kohli loved playing second fiddle as Rohit Sharma brought up his fifty. Though Sharma could not continue as he departed. Then Suryakumar Yadav played a cameo by smashing 17-ball 32. In the end, Kohli took it upon himself and along with Pandya took India to a strong total. England bowlers were found wanting on the day as they were clobbered all around the park. Mark Wood and Chris Jordan conceded 53 and 57 runs respectively. As just Adil Rashid and Ben Stokes managed to took the two wickets to fall in the Indian innings. In the end, India played better and stronger to win the series.


Brilliant bowling in the second innings on the trot by India despite the dew playing its part. If it was Bhuvaneshwar Kumar at the start then Shardul Thakur did it in the end. They used the slower balls to good effect and did not allow the English batsmen any scoring opportunity, India did look on the back foot when Malan and Buttler were going about their business but the wicket of Buttler opened the floodgates for India and then again, Shardul Thakur's double-wicket over almost sealed the deal for India and Thakur finished the last over to hand India the series. What a performance from this young Indian side. they have learned to bat aggressively, bowl aggressively and field with a class. This is the new-look side the teams would be wary of going into the T20 World Cup later this year in October.


Chasing a mammoth total of 225 runs needed a serious opening partnership from England openers but Roy's departure on the second ball of the chase just put them off. Though Buttler and Malan tried to keep England in the game for a major part of the innings by putting up a 130-run stand but their departure after getting to their respective milestones just robbed them off the momentum. Also, the form of Eoin Morgan hurt them big time and in the end the target looked much bigger to them as they went fighting
