 Subject: Regarding the closure of Vidyalakshmi Bond Scheme implemented from the academic year 2002-2003.  Reference: Resolution No. of Education Department: PRE / 1903/4/6, dated 19/06/2021


 Regarding the above subject, it is to be mentioned that with the resolution dated 19/06/2021 under the reference of the education department, the "Vali Dikari Yojana" of the women and child development department has been implemented in the state from the year 2020-21, the number of beneficiary girls in the state should not be doubled  For that purpose, it has been decided to close Vidyalakshmi Bond Scheme from 01/04/2071, a copy of the resolution is attached herewith, taking into consideration that this office will not have to send the requested information about Vidyalakshmi Bond from the letter dated 16/06/2021.  As well as the students who have passed Std. 8 this year, they should be asked to take care that the maturity amount of their bond is paid to them immediately.

ઉપરોક્ત વિષય પરત્વે જણાવવાનું કે, શિક્ષણ વિભાગના સંદર્ભ હેઠળના તા.૧૮/૦૫/૨૦૨૧ના ઠરાવથી રાજયમાં મહિલા અને બાળ વિકાસ વિભાગની “વ્હાલી દિકરી યોજના" વર્ષ ૨૦૨૦-૨૧થી અમલમાં મૂકેલ હોઇ, રાજયમાં લાભાર્થી કન્યાઓની સંખ્યા બેવડાય નહી તેમજ વિશાળ સ્તરે રાજયની કન્યાઓને લાભ મળે તે હેતુસર વિદ્યાલક્ષ્મી બોન્ડ યોજના તા.૦૧/૦૪/૨૦૨૧થી બંધ કરવા ઠરાવવામાં આવેલ છે, જે ઠરાવની નકલ આ સાથે સામેલ છે, જે ધ્યાને લઇ આ કચેરી દ્વારા તા.૧૨/૦૫/૨૦૨૧ના પત્રથી વિદ્યાલક્ષ્મી બોન્ડ અંગે માંગવામાં આવેલ માહિતી મોકલવાની રહેશે નહીં, તેમજ જે વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓએ આ વર્ષે ધોરણ ૮ પાસ કરેલ છે, તેઓના બોન્ડની પાકતી રકમ સત્વરે તેઓને ચૂકવાઇ જાય તેની કાળજી લેવા જણાવવામાં આવે.

In order to increase the proportion of female education in the state and to promote female education as well as to ensure 100% enrollment of girls in school and 100% stabilization in school, the government has taken the number (1) dated 19/08/2009 and number (2) dated 18/08  / Vidyalakshmi Bond Scheme has been implemented with the resolutions of 2012.  In order to reduce the drop out ratio in girls' education as well as for the purpose of women empowerment, the Vali Dikari Yojana has been implemented with the resolution number (2) taken by the Department of Women and Child Development.  In order to benefit the wider class from this scheme, the number of beneficiaries should not be doubled and maximum number of girls should get the benefit.  The proposal to close the Vidyalakshmi Bond Scheme, which is being run by this department from the year 2021, was under consideration by the Government.



 Resolution:

 The Vahali Dikari Yojana of the Department of Women and Child Development will be implemented in the state from the year 2030-21.  That is why it is decided to close from 01/06/2021.


 These orders are issued on the file of the same number of this department as per the approval received from the Government dated 7/11/2020 and dated 15/06/2021.
