According to the above subject and context, the proposal of the Government of India to declare the year 2023 as the *International Year of Millets'' has been accepted by the United Nations General Assembly, under which public awareness is given to inform about the health benefits of Millets and to popularize Millets based dishes. It has been informed by the Government of India to carry out some activities like organizing programs.
