Introduction:
Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) by the resolution of the Department new latter.
It was decided to give the benefit of 10 percent reservation to the category of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) by the resolution of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment mentioned in number (1) read.
According to Resolution No.-(3) read by the Education Department, the rules for the Eligibility Test for Primary Teachers were decided. In point No.3(A) of the Resolution, it is stated that 'in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward and Handicapped Candidates, the Teacher Eligibility Test shall be passed with 55% marks'. Regarding the present matter, in view of the resolution read No.-(2) from the letter read No.-(4) of the State Examination Board, it was proposed to give percentage benefit to the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category. The matter was under the consideration of Govt.

Amendment Resolution:
At the end of mature consideration, as per No. (3) read by the Department, provision No.-'3(a)' of the resolution of the Education Department dated 27/04/2011 includes the category of 'Economically Weaker Sections - EWS'.
Therefore, the said provision No. 3(a) has to be read as follows:
* In case of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward, Handicapped and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates, the Teacher Eligibility Test must be passed with 55% marks.

And other details of the amendment resolutions passed therein will remain unchanged. This order is published vide the approval of the Government vide note dated 13/12/2022 on the file of the same number of this department,
