Gujarat Non-Reserved Educational and Economic Corporation has also taken a big decision. Loan scheme has been changed for studying abroad. A maximum of 2 students in a single family can avail the benefit. The application will be accepted by another student from one family keeping in view the availability of budget. A family with an income of more than Rs 2.5 lakh will have to file an IT return. Self-declaration will be valid for families with less than 2.5 lakh income.
So important decisions have been taken by the education department in the interest of students and their parents studying in non-subsidized private schools in the state. Education Minister Jitu Waghan said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the education department has taken strict action against non-subsidized private schools in the interest of students as well as parents.
The school / institution may be de-recognized
The Education Minister added that penal action would be taken against schools for forcing students to buy uniforms / boots, books, literature and stationery from a particular shop or institution. Not only that, for the first time, Rs. 10 thousand and in each case of irregularity thereafter Rs. Provision has been made by the education department to impose a fine of Rs 5,000. In addition, in case of five or more irregularities, de-recognition of the school / institution will be initiated. Cannot be provided. In order to ensure strict adherence to the provisions made earlier, orders have been issued to all District Education Officers to take personal interest and take action as per rules.
Knowledge will be imparted to the children by arranging tours of historical and cultural places
In another announcement, Education Minister Jitubhai Waghani said that the state government has taken an important decision to impart education as well as knowledge of historical and cultural sites to the state government school children so that the children of the state get acquainted with education as well as cultural heritage and common art heritage. This important decision has been taken under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to acquaint the children with the art heritage of the state along with education and to preserve this heritage as a historical heritage in the coming generations.

He added that under the distance education program offered in government schools across the state, the children of government primary schools in the hinterland of the state would be given a tour of historical and cultural places of Gujarat as part of the exposure visit. The glorious historical and cultural heritage of Vadnagar will be widely publicized and disseminated as part of the celebration of Independence Amrut Mahotsav. He added that the children would be given information about architecture like Sarovar, Ranakiwav of Patan. Other ancillary arrangements including travel expenses for school children visiting these places will be provided by the State Government.
Organizing sports festival in every university of Gujarat
In Bhavnagar, Education Minister Jitu Waghani has made an important announcement that sports festivals will be organized in all the universities of the state. Under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, sports festival will be organized for school, college students, non-studying youth.
