ભારત સરકારે જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય (જે.એન.વિ.)ની શરૂઆત રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિ (૧૯૮૬) અનુસાર કરેલી. વર્તમાનમાં ૨૭ રાજ્યો અને ૦૮ કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશોમાં જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય કાર્યરત છે.
આ તમામ વિદ્યાલય સહશિક્ષણ આપતી આવાસીય વિદ્યાલય છે, જેની સંપૂર્ણ આર્થિક જવાબદારી ભારત સરકાર દ્વારા સંચાલિત સ્વાયત્ત સંસ્થા નવોદય વિદ્યાલય સમિતિ સંભાળે છે. આ વિદ્યાલયોમાં પ્રવેશ જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પસંદગી પરીક્ષા (JNVST)દ્વારા છઠ્ઠા ધોરણથી અપાય છે.
આ વિદ્યાલયોમાં ધોરણ ૬ થી ૮ સુધી માતૃભાષા ક્ષેત્રીય ભાષામાં અને ત્યારબાદ અંગ્રેજી, ગણિત અને વિજ્ઞાન અંગ્રેજી તથા સામાજિક વિજ્ઞાનનું શિક્ષણ હિન્દી ભાષામાં આપવામાં આવે છે. જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલયના વિદ્યાર્થીઓની ધોરણ ૧૦ અને ૧૨ ની બોર્ડ પરીક્ષા ‘કેન્દ્રીય માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ '-નવી દિલ્હી દ્વારા લેવામાં આવે છે.
આ શાળાઓમાં શિક્ષણ ઉપરાંત રહેવાનું, જમવાનું, ગણવેશ તેમજ પુસ્તકો નિઃશુલ્ક આપવામાં આવે છે, ફક્ત ધોરણ ૯ થી ૧૨ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓની રૂ. ૬૦૦ /- માસિક ફી ‘વિદ્યાલય વિકાસ નિધિ' ના રૂપમાં લેવામાં આવે છે.
આમાં અનુસુચિત જાતિ, અનુસુચિત જનજાતિ, બધી જ વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ તથા ગરીબી રેખા નીચે આવતા પરિવાર (બી.પી.એલ.)ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓની ફી માફ કરવામાં આવે છે. એવા સરકારી કર્મચારીઓ કે જે ને પોતાના બાળકો માટે શિક્ષણ ભથ્થુ મળવાપાત્ર છે તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને મહિને ૧૫૦૦ /- અથવા મળવાપાત્ર શિક્ષણ ભથ્થું, બેમાંથી જે ઓછી હોય તે રકમ લેવામાં આવે છે. આમાં પણઅનુસુચિત જાતિ, અનુસુચિત જનજાતિ, બધી જ વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ તથા ગરીબીરેખા નીચે આવતા પરિવાર (બી.પી.એલ.)ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓની ફી માફ કરવામાં આવે છે.
યોજનાના ઉદ્દેશ્યો

(1) ખાસ કરીને ગ્રામીણ વિસ્તારમાંથી આવતા પ્રતિભાવાન બાળકોના સર્વાંગી વિકાસ માટે ગુણવત્તાયુક્ત ત થા આધુનિક શિક્ષણ પૂરું પાડવું, સાંસ્કૃતિક અને નૈતિક મૂલ્યોનો વિકાસ કરવો, પર્યાવરણ જાગૃતિ અને સાહસિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓ સાથે શારીરિક શિક્ષણ પૂરું પાડવું.
(ii) વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ત્રણ ભાષાઓમાં કુશળતા પ્રાપ્ત કરે તે નક્કી કરવું.
(ii) રાષ્ટ્રીય એકતાને મજબૂત કરવા હિન્દીભાષી રાજ્યોના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને અ હિન્દી ભાષી રાજ્યોમાં અને હિન્દી ભાષી રાજ્યોના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને હિન્દીભાષી રાજ્યોમાં સ્થાનાંતર કરવા.
(iv) અનુભવો અને સુવિધાઓના માધ્યમથી દરેક જિલ્લામાંશાળા શિક્ષણની ગુણવત્તામાં સુધારણા માટે સેવાઓ પુરી પાડવી.
વિશેષ નવોદય વિદ્યાલય
પ્રત્યેક જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય માં છઠ્ઠા ધોરણમાંયોગ્યતા ધરાવતા ઉમેદવારોમાંથીવધુમાં વધુ ૮૦વિદ્યાર્થીઓનેપ્રવેશ આપવામાં આવે છે. જો કે પુરતી રહેવાની અસુવિધાના કારણોસર આ વર્ગોની સંખ્યા ૪૦ સુધી ઘટાડવી અથવા વિદ્યાલય પસંદગી પરીક્ષા નું પરિણામ રોકી રાખવું તેમજ જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પસંદગી પરીક્ષા અટકાવી રાખવાનાતથા વધારાનીપરીક્ષા લેવાના અધિકાર ‘નવોદય વિદ્યાલય સમિતિ'ના રહેશે.
જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા -૨૦૨૨
જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા ધોરણ -૬ વર્ષ ૨૦૨૨-૨૩ માટે પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા શનિવાર, ૩૦ એપ્રિલ, ૨૦૨૨ સવારે ૧૧:૩૦ વાગ્યે એક જ તબક્કામાં તમામ વિદ્યાલયો માટે યોજાશે.

જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા માટે અરજી કેવી રીતે કરવી
2.1 જવાહરનવોદયવિદ્યાલય પરીક્ષા-૨૦૨૨માટે ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરવાની પ્રક્રિયા
(i) પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા માટે અરજી કરવાની રીત સરળ અને સંપૂર્ણ ઓનલાઈન પદ્ધતિથી છે.વિદ્યાર્થીનું રજીસ્ટ્રેશન ન.વિ.સ. ના એડમીશન પોર્ટલ www.navodaya.gov.in અને navodaya.gov.in/nvs/en/Admission-JNVST/JNVST-class/ પર તદ્દન ફ્રી થાય છે. પરીક્ષાનું પરિણામ જાહેર થયા બાદ સફળ ઉમેદવારોના સમિતિ દ્વારા નક્કી કરાયેલ ધારાધોરણ મુજબ રહેઠાણ, ઉંમર, અને લાયકાતના પુરાવાઓની ચોકસાઈથી અને વિગતવાર ચકાસણી કરવામાં આવશે.
(ii) યોગ્યતા ધરાવનાર વિદ્યાર્થીએ નિયત નમુનામાં આપેલ પ્રમાણપત્ર સંપૂર્ણ રીતે ભરીને ફોટો ચોટાડીને અને વિદ્યાર્થીની તથા વિદ્યાર્થીના વાલીની સહી કરીને jpgફોર્મેટ માં 10-100 kh સાઇઝમાં સ્કેન કરીને અપલોડ કરવાનું રહેશે. (iii) રાષ્ટ્રીય મુક્ત વિદ્યાલયોમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા ઉમેદવારોએ B પ્રમાણપત્ર તથા જે-તે જિલ્લાની નવોદય વિદ્યાલયમાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવા ઇચ્છતા હોય તે જિલ્લાનું નિવાસી પ્રમાણપત્ર રજુ કરવાનું રહેશે.
(iv) ઉપરોક્ત ઓનલાઈનપ્લેટફોર્મ ઓપન સોર્સ અને વિનામૂલ્યે હોવાથી અરજી પત્રક લેપટોપ,મોબાઈલ ફોન,ટેબલેટ જેવા ઉપકરણોના માધ્યમથી જમા કરાવી શકાય છે.
(v) વિદ્યાર્થી અને વાલીઓની સહાયતા માટે દરેક નવોદય વિદ્યાલય માં એક સહાયતા કેન્દ્ર ઉપલબ્ધહોય છે. જ્યાં વાલીગણ જરૂરી દસ્તાવેજ જેવા કે આચાર્યની સહી વાળું પ્રમાણપત્ર, ફોટોગ્રાફ અને મોબાઈલ ફોન (જેમાં રજીસ્ટ્રેશન નંબર અને પાસવર્ડ પ્રાપ્ત થઇ શકે) લઇ જઈને રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કાર્ય કરાવી શકે છે.
2.2 પરીક્ષા પ્રવેશપત્ર વિતરણ
પરીક્ષા પ્રવેશપત્ર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય સમિતિ દ્વારા નિર્ધારિત તારીખથી એડમીશન પોર્ટલ પર ડાઉનલોડ કરવા માટે ઉપલબ્ધ હશે. પ્રવેશપત્ર અંગેની જાણકારી એડમીશન પોર્ટલ પરથી મળી શકશે. ડાઉનલોડ કરી શકશે. JNVST પરીક્ષા પૂર્વે વિદ્યાર્થી/વાલી પ્રવેશપત્ર વિનામૂલ્યે
2.3 પસંદગી પરીક્ષાનું પરિણામ
જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય પસંદગી પરીક્ષા-૨૦૨૨નું પરિણામ જૂન (૨૦૨૨ )મહિનામાં જાહેર થઈ શકે છે .વિદ્યાર્થી પરિણામ અંગેની જાણકારી એડમીશન પોર્ટલ પરથી મેળવી શકશે. પરિણામ નીચે જણાવેલ કચેરીના બોર્ડ ઉપર પણ લગાડવામાં આવે છે.

5. નવોદય વિદ્યાલયની સમિતિની વેબસાઈટ www.navodaya.gov.inપર દર્શાવવામાં આવશે. સંબંધિત જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલયના આચાર્ય પસંદ થયેલા ઉમેદવારોને નોંધણી કરાયેલા મોબાઈલ નંબર પર સંદેશ દ્વારા તથા સ્પીડ પોસ્ટ દ્વારા જાણ કરશે.
પસંદગી અને પ્રવેશ
3.1પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષામાં પાસ થઈ જવા માત્રથી વિદ્યાર્થીને જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલયમાં પ્રવેશનોઅધિકાર મળી જતો નથી. પ્રવેશ માટે પસંદગી પામેલા ઉમેદવારે સમિતિએ નિર્ધારિત કરેલ જરૂરી તમામ દસ્તાવેજો જમા કરાવવાના રહેશે. ત્યાં સુધી કામચલાવ પ્રવેશ ગણાશે
વિદ્યાર્થીઓને સલાહ આપવામાં આવે છે કે સંબંધિત નવોદય દ્વારા તમારા દસ્તાવેજ ચકાસણી અને પ્રવેશ નક્કી થયા પછી જ શાળા છોડ્યાનું પ્રમાણપત્ર કઢાવવું.
3.2 કોઈ પણ વાંધા બાબતે નવોદય વિદ્યાલય સમિતિનો નિર્ણય વિદ્યાર્થી માટે બંધનકર્તા અને આખરી ગણાશે.
૩.૩ પસંદથયેલા કે પસંદ નહીં થયેલા ઉમેદવારોને પરીક્ષામાં મેળવેલ ગુણ બતાવવામાં આવશે નહીં.
3.4 ઉત્તરવહીની ફેર તપાસણી કે કુલગુણની ફેર તપાસણીની કોઈ જોગવાઈ નથી, કેમકે પરીક્ષાનું પરિણામ કોમ્પ્યુટર દ્વારા તૈયાર થાય છે. પરિણામ તૈયાર કરતા પહેલા વિવિધ તબક્કે પૂરતા પ્રમાણમાં ચોકસાઈ જાળવવામાં આવે છે.
3.5 વિદ્યાર્થીના વાલીએ એ બાબતે નોંધ લેવી કે ન.વિ.સ.ની યોજના મુજબ હિન્દીભાષી રાજ્યોના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને અહિન્દીભાષી રાજ્યોમાં અને અહિન્દીભાષી રાજ્યોના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને હિન્દીભાષી રાજ્યોમાં પરસ્પર એ શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ માટે ધોરણ-૯માં સ્થાનાંતર કરવામાં આવે છે. સ્થાનાંતરણ માટે પસંદ થયેલ વિદ્યાર્થી / વાલી અસ્વીકાર કરે તો તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીનો શાળા માંથી પ્રવેશ નિરસ્ત કરવામાં આવશે.
3.6 વિદ્યાર્થી અને વાલીએ એ બાબતનું ધ્યાન રાખવું કે વિદ્યાર્થિની જે જિલ્લામાં પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષા પાસ કરી હશે તે જ જિલ્લામાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવાનો હક રહેશે કોઈ પણ સંજોગોમાં બીજા જિલ્લાની નવોદય વિદ્યાલયમાં પ્રવેશ મળી શકશે નહીં. પિતા/વાલીના સ્થાનાંતરણના કેસમાં વિદ્યાર્થીને અન્ય કોઈ પણ નવોદય વિદ્યાલયમાં સ્થાનાંતરણ આપવામાં આવશે નહીં.
3.7 અનુસુચિત જાતિ ( SC), અનુસુચિત જનજાતિ (ST) તેમજ અન્ય પછાત વર્ગ(OBC)ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ SC / ST / OBC નું સક્ષમ અધિકારી દ્વારા મેળવેલ પ્રમાણપત્ર પ્રવેશ મેળવતા સમયે પ્રસ્તુત કરવાનું રહેશે. જે વિદ્યાર્થિની પસંદગી OBC કેટેગરીના અનામત કોટામાં થયેલ હોય તેઓએ કેન્દ્ર સરકાર દ્વારા નિર્ધારિત OBC પ્રમાણપત્ર (નકલ સંલગ્ન) પ્રવેશ મેળવવાના વર્ષની ૩૦મી માર્ચ પહેલાનું હોવું જોઈએ. દા.ત. વિદ્યાર્થી વર્ષ ૨૦૨૨-૨૩ માટે પ્રવેશ મેળવવા ઈચ્છતો હોય તો પ્રમાણપત્ર તારીખ ૩૦મી માર્ચ ૨૦૨૨ કે તે પહેલાનું હોવું જોઈએ 3.8 ગ્રામીણ અનામત જગ્યામાં પ્રવેશ માટે અરજી કરનારવિદ્યાર્થીએ ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તારમાં આવેલી સરકારી, સરકારી સહાય મેળવતી કે સરકાર માન્ય શાળામાં ધોરણ -૩, ૪ અને ૫ માં સતત અભ્યાસ કરેલો છે એ બાબતનું પ્રમાણપત્ર પ્રસ્તુત કરવાનું રહેશે.
3.9 દિવ્યાંગ વિદ્યાર્થી (શારીરિક દિવ્યાંગ, મૂક-બધિર દિવ્યાંગ, દ્રષ્ટિહીન દિવ્યાંગ) જે તે શ્રેણીમાં પ્રવેશ માટે પસંદગી પામેલ હોય તેનું દિવ્યાંગ હોવાનું જિલ્લા મુખ્ય આરોગ્ય અધિકારી અપાયેલ પ્રમાણપત્ર પ્રવેશ સમયે પ્રસ્તુત કરવાનું રહેશે.
3.10 નાન્યતર જાતિમાં આવતા વિદ્યાર્થીએ નાન્યતર જાતિ અંગેનું સક્ષમ અધિકારીનું પ્રમાણપત્ર
જે તે રાજ્ય દ્વારા નિર્ધારિત પ્રારૂપમાં રજુ કરવાનું રહેશે. આવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે અનામતની કોઈ જોગવાઈ નથી.
પ્રવેશ માટે ની યોગ્યતા બધા જ ઉમેદવારો માટે :
સરકાર માન્ય શાળામાં અભ્યાસ કરતા ઉમેદવારો જે તેજિલ્લામાં આવેલી નવોદય વિદ્યાલય માટે જ અરજી કરી શકશે ,બીજા જિલ્લા માટે નહીં.જો કોઈ જિલ્લાનું વિભાજન થયું હોય અને નવા જીલ્લામાં નવોદય વિદ્યાલય ચાલુ ના થઇ હોય તો જે તે જિલ્લાની જૂની સિમાઓ પ્રવેશમાટે માન્ય ગણાશે.
4.1 જે-તે જિલ્લાની સરકાર

જે વિદ્યાર્થીનો જન્મ તારીખ :૧-૫-૨૦૦૯ પહેલા અને તારીખ : ૩૦-૪-૨૦૧૩ પછી થયેલ હોય તે વિદ્યાર્થી પ્રવેશ માટે અયોગ્ય ગણાશે. આ નિયમ બધી જ અનામત શ્રેણીઓને લાગુ જેમાં SC/ST અને OBC પણ સામેલ છે. પ્રવેશ ઇચ્છતા તથા વધારે ઉંમરવાળા શંકાસ્પદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓના કેસ મેડિકલ બોર્ડને રીફર કરવામાં આવશે જેમાં મેડિકલ બોર્ડનો નિર્ણય બંધનકર્તા અને આખરી ગણાશે.
4.3 વિદ્યાર્થીવર્ષ ૨૦૨૧-૨૨ માં સરકાર/સરકાર માન્ય સંસ્થામાં ધોરણ -૫માં અધ્યયનરત હોઈ તે વિદ્યાર્થી પ્રવેશ પરીક્ષામાં તૈયોગ્ય છે. જો વિદ્યાર્થીએ રાષ્ટ્રીય મુક્ત શિક્ષણ સંસ્થાન '(NIOS-ઓપન સ્કૂલ)માં અભ્યાસ કર્યો હોય તોતે શાળા નુ NIOSનું માન્યતા પ્રાપ્ત પ્રમાણપત્ર હોવું જોઈએ તથા વિદ્યાર્થી તેજ જિલ્લામાં જ (NIOS) માં ભણેલો હોવો જોઈએ.ઉપરાંત વિદ્યાર્થી પાસે રાષ્ટ્રીય મુક્ત શિક્ષણ સંસ્થા (NIOS)નું B સર્ટિફિકેટ હોવું જોઈએ.વિદ્યાર્થી ધોરણ-૫માં વર્ષ ૨૦૨૧-૨૨માં અભ્યાસરત હોવો જોઈએ.જે વિદ્યાર્થીએ અગાઉનાં વર્ષોમાં ધોરણ-૫ પાસ કરેલ હશે તે વિદ્યાર્થી આ પરીક્ષા આપવા માટે યોગ્ય નથી.તથા જે શાળા માં વિદ્યાર્થી અભ્યાસરત હશે તે શાળા સરકારી/સરકાર દ્વારા માન્યતા પ્રાપ્ત શાળા હોવી જોઈએ.વર્ષ ૨૦૨૧-૨૨માં ઉમેદવારે ધોરણ-૫ સફળતા પૂર્વક પાસ કરેલ હોવું જોઈએ.વિદ્યાર્થીને ધોરણ-૬માં વાસ્તવિક પ્રવેશ વર્ષ ૨૦૨૨-૨૩માં ઉપરોક્ત શરતોને અધીન રહેશે.

The Government of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in accordance with the National Education Policy (18). At present Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning in 7 States and 05 Union Territories.
All these schools are co-educational residential schools, the entire financial responsibility of which is handled by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous body run by the Government of India. Admission to these schools is given through Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) from 6th standard.
In these schools, Std. 6 to 8 is taught in the mother tongue regional language and then English, Mathematics and Science English and Social Science are taught in Hindi. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya students' standard 10 and 12 board examinations are conducted by 'Central Board of Secondary Education' - New Delhi.
Apart from education, accommodation, meals, uniforms and books are provided free of cost in these schools, only Rs. 500 / - monthly fee is taken in the form of 'Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi'.
Fees are waived for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, all female students and students belonging to BPL families. Government employees who are entitled to education allowance for their children are charged Rs. 1500 / - per month or education allowance, whichever is less. Fees are also waived for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, all students and students below the poverty line (BPL).
Objectives of the scheme
(1) To provide quality and modern education for the holistic development of talented children especially from rural areas, to develop cultural and moral values, to provide physical education along with environmental awareness and adventurous activities.
(ii) Determining that students acquire proficiency in three languages.
(ii) To transfer students from Hindi speaking states to non-Hindi speaking states and students from Hindi speaking states to Hindi speaking states to strengthen national unity.
(iv) To provide services for improving the quality of school education in each district through experiences and facilities.
Special Navodaya Vidyalaya
Each Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya admits a maximum of 30 students out of the candidates who are qualified in 6th standard. However, due to the inconvenience of not having enough, the number of these classes will be reduced to 50 or the result of the school selection test will be withheld and the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya selection test will be stopped and the additional test will have the right of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
1.2 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination-206
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination Entrance Examination for Std-9 year 206-6 will be held on Saturday, April 30, 202 at 11:30 am in one phase for all schools.
Last date to apply online is November 30, 2021.
How to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination
2.1 Procedure to apply online for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Examination-207
(i) The way to apply for the entrance exam is easy and complete online method. Admission is completely free on the portal www.navodaya.gov.in and navodaya.gov.in/nvs/en/Admission-JNVST/JNVST-class/. After the result of the examination is declared, the proof of residence, age and qualification will be scrutinized accurately and in detail as per the norms laid down by the committee of successful candidates.
(ii) Eligible student will have to fill in the certificate given in the prescribed form in full, attach the photo and sign the student and the guardian of the student and scan and upload in jpg format in size 10-100 kh. (iii) Candidates studying in National Open Schools will have to submit B certificate and resident certificate of the district in which they want to get admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya of that district.
(iv) Since the above online platform is open source and free, the application form can be submitted through devices like laptop, mobile phone, tablet.
(v) There is a support center available in each Navodaya Vidyalaya to assist students and parents. Where the parents can carry out the registration work by carrying the required documents such as a certificate signed by the principal, a photograph and a mobile phone (in which the registration number and password can be obtained).
2.2 Exam Admission Distribution
Examination tickets will be available for download on the Admission Portal from the date fixed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Admission information can be obtained from the Admission Portal. Will be able to download. Free student / parent admission card before JNVST exam
2.3 Result of selection test
The result of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Examination-208 may be declared in the month of June (206). The student can get the information about the result from the Admission Portal. The result is also applied to the following office boards.

5. The website of the committee of Navodaya Vidyalaya will be displayed on www.navodaya.gov.in. The principal of the concerned Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya will inform the selected candidates by message on the registered mobile number and by speed post.
Selection and admission
3.1 A student does not get the right of admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya just by passing the entrance examination. The candidate selected for admission has to submit all the required documents as determined by the committee. Until then temporary admission will be counted
Students are advised to get the school leaving certificate only after verification of your documents and determination of admission by the concerned Navodaya.
3.2 The decision of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in respect of any objection shall be deemed binding and final for the student.
2.2 Candidates who have been selected or not selected will not be shown the marks obtained in the examination.
3.4 There is no provision for re-examination of answer scripts or re-examination of total marks, as the result of the examination is prepared by computer. Adequate accuracy is maintained at various stages before the result is prepared.
3.5 Parents of students should note that as per the plan of NVS, students from Hindi speaking states are transferred to non-Hindi speaking states and students from non-Hindi speaking states are transferred to Std-9 for each academic year. If the student / parent selected for transfer refuses, the student will be denied admission from the school.
3.6 Students and parents should keep in mind that the student will have the right to get admission in the district in which he has passed the entrance examination. Under no circumstances will he be able to get admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya in another district. In case of transfer of father / guardian, the student will not be transferred to any other Navodaya Vidyalaya.
3.7 Students of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) as well as Other Backward Classes (OBC) will have to present the certificate obtained by the competent officer of SC / ST / OBC at the time of admission. Students who have been selected in the reserved quota of OBC category should have OBC Certificate (copy attached) prescribed by the Central Government before March 30 of the year of admission. E.g. If the student wants to get admission for the year 205-6, the certificate should be dated 30th March, 206 or earlier. 3.8 A certificate of the matter has to be submitted.
3.9 Disabled student (physically handicapped, deaf-mute handicapped, blind handicapped) who has been selected for admission in that category will have to submit the certificate issued by the District Chief Health Officer at the time of admission.
3.10 Certificate of competent authority regarding non-caste student
Which has to be presented in the format prescribed by the state. There is no provision of reservation for such students.
Eligibility for Admission For All Candidates:
Candidates studying in a government recognized school who can apply only for Navodaya Vidyalaya in Tejilla, not for another district.
4.1 Government of the district

A student who was born before: 1-2-2008 and after: 30-9-2018 will be considered ineligible for admission. This rule applies to all reserved categories including SC / ST and OBC. Cases of suspected students seeking admission and older will be referred to the Medical Board in which the decision of the Medical Board will be binding and final.
4.3 Students studying in Std-9 in a government / government recognized institution in the year 2021-2 are eligible for the entrance examination. If the student has studied in National Institute of Open Education (NIOS-Open School) then the school should have NIOS accredited certificate and the student should have studied in the same district (NIOS). Must have B certificate. Student should be studying in Std-9 in the year 2021-2. A stકudent who has passed Std-8 in previous years is not eligible to appear for this examination. Candidate should have successfully passed Std-8 in the year 2021-26.
