 While for the academic year 2020-21, the question papers of the school examination of standard 9 to 12 will have to be prepared at the school level.  The change in the examination system will also be applicable in the academic year 2020-21 due to the existing Covid 19 status.

 50% OMR method and 50% descriptive status quo in Standard 12 Science
 For the year 2020-21, in Std. 9,10 and 11 (Science and General Stream), in Std. 12 General Stream Examination, the proportion of objective questions in the question paper has been reduced to 30% and the proportion of descriptive questions to 70%.  Which was earlier 20 per cent of objective questions.  Standard 12 Science (Science stream) 50% objective questions and 50% descriptive questions will remain the same.  In addition to this, in Std. 9 to 12 question papers, in the descriptive type of questions, general option will be given instead of internal option.

 



 According to the revised syllabus of Std. 10 and 12 subjects, Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will soon start reporting the details of merit and structure of question papers as well as details of merit and structure of question papers as per revised syllabus of Std. 9 and 11 subjects.
