In the last 24 hours, 492 new cases of corona have been reported. Which is by far the highest number of cases reported in a single day. While 33 patients have died.

Gandhinagar: Corona cases are on the rise in the state. In the last 24 hours, 492 new cases of corona have been reported. Which is by far the highest number of cases reported in a single day. While 33 patients have died. Today 455 patients have been discharged recovering. At the same time, the total number of infected patients in the state has reached 18609, while the total death toll has reached 1155.

The new cases registered in the state today include 291 in Ahmedabad, 81 in Surat, 39 in Vadodara, 21 in Gandhinagar, 2 in Bhavnagar, 6 in Banaskantha, 4 in Anand, 4 in Rajkot, 4 in Aravalli, 9 in Mehsana, 3 in Panchmahal, 4 in Kheda, 4 in Sabarkantha, 4 in Dahod, 4 in Narmada. Botad, Jamnagar, Bharuch, Kutch, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Surendranagar have 1-1 cases and other states 2 cases.

A further 33 people have died in the state in the last 24 hours, according to health department figures. In Ahmedabad-28, 1-1 patients died in Botad, Kutch, Patan and Valsad. The total death toll in the state has reached 1155.

A total of 12667 patients have been discharged in the state so far. There are currently 4779 active cases in the state of which 68 are on ventilator and 4711 patients are stable. A total of 2 lakh 33 thousand 921 tests have been conducted in the state so far.

A total of 220695 persons have been quarantined in different districts of the state. Out of which 213262 persons have been placed in Home Quarantine and 7433 persons in Facility Quarantine.

Corona's new record in Gujarat: 4 cases, 20 deaths.
- 21 cases in Ahmedabad, death of 6 patients under treatment.
- The situation in Surat is serious, 21 new cases, 6 in Vadodara, 21 in Gandhinagar at once. Cases between 1 and 2 in the remaining districts.
- One death each in Botad, Kutch, Gandhinagar, Patan and Valsad.
