Gujarat State Primary Teachers' Union organized a dam program in Gandhinagar from today to present the application to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. In this case, all the teachers recruited in the state from now till now have been demanded to benefit from the continuity of employment, seniority, promotion and higher pay.

Gujarat State Primary Teachers' Union has organized dharna in Gandhinagar for two days from now. Primary schools across the state have been obliged to wear black bars for the past one week after their demands have not been properly resolved.
At that time, a letter from the Satyagraha camp near Sector-1 was made to the Chief Minister. Regarding the demands made by President Digvijay Singh Jadeja and General Secretary Satish Patel, the job of all fixed pay teachers from 1 to date should be considered in a consistent manner. While closing the newly implemented pension scheme and continuing the old scheme, higher primary teachers should be given separate grades.

Apart from this, teachers have been appealed to the non-academic work to resolve the issues like implementation of equal pay rules as per the order of the Supreme Court and to stop the fixed payroll recruitment process. More than 3 teachers from other district-taluka will join the program on February 7 in this dam. However, if no solution is taken, a more aggressive program will be offered.
