INFLIBNET Gandhinagar Recruitment 2019 : Information And Library Network Center has published an advertisement for the post of Assistant, Senior Assistant, Technical Assistant, Scientist.
INFLIBNET Centre is an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission with its head-quarters at Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat State in its IT Hub, Infocity with world class premier institutes of higher learning and IT corporate bodies. The Centre has taken up major programmes for modernization of libraries and information Centres in universities, colleges, institutes of higher learning and R & D institutes in India with application of computer and communication technology.
At present Centre is handling numerous projects which can be seen on our website. Some of the major programmes being executed by the INFLIBNET Centre include Shodhganga, Shodhgangotri, E Content, IEP, Vidwan, OJAS and e-Shodh Sindhu etc. The Centre invites applications from Indian Nationals on direct recruitment basis for the under-mentioned posts in Library and Information Science and in administrative area as follows:

Education Qualification :
Scientist-d (Library Science):Ph.D. in Library & Information Science area with four years relevant experience OR M.Lib./M.L.I.Sc. or equivalent with ten years relevant experience.PAY LEVEL : 12 (Rs.78,800-2,09,200) plus perks and allowances as per Govt. of India rules as amended from time to time.UPPER AGE LIMIT: 45 years plus age relaxation of three years available under reservation policy.Scientist-c (Library Science):Ph.D. in Library & Information Science area OR M.Lib./M.L.I.Sc./Equivalent with six years experience.PAY LEVEL : 11 (Rs.67,700-2,08,700) plus perks and allowances as per Govt. of India rules as amended from time to time.UPPER AGE LIMIT: 40 yearsScientific/technical Assistant (Library Science):B.Lib./B.L.I.Sc.PAY LEVEL : 6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400) plus perks and allowances as per Govt. of India rules as amended from time to time.AGE LIMIT : 30 Years.Senior Assistant/office Assistant-iiA Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with atleast second class and five years experience in the field of Purchase & Stores/Accounts/Establishment in a University/ Govt./Autonomous Body/reputed Private Firm.PAY LEVEL : 6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400) plus perks and allowances as per Govt. of India rules as amended from time to time.AGE LIMIT: 30 years (35 years for Central/State Govt.Autonomous Bodies, University employees.)Assistant : A Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university and three years experience in the field of Purchase & Stores/Accounts/Establishment in a University/ Govt./Autonomous Body/reputed Private Firm.PAY LEVEL : 4 (Rs.25,500-81,100) plus perks and allowances as per Govt. of India rules as amended from time to time.AGE LIMIT: 25 years (35 years for Central/State Govt.Autonomous Bodies, University employees.)
Selection Process :
Written test/skill test may be conducted.
