Today, the penalties for traffic violation rules are increased by 30 times, and who knows how much.

Today, new rules of RTO have been implemented in the country.  The new traffic rules will have severe penalties for those who break traffic rules.  Previously there were no laws regarding the problems caused by driving in Minor.  Now the children's parents or the vehicle owner will be blamed.

The negligence you hold while driving a car, bike or any other vehicle can be overwhelming.  The new Motor Vehicle Act has been in effect across the country from today, September 1.  Based on that many penalties have been fined 5 times.

In some, the fine has been increased 10-fold and 30-fold.  If you are driving without a license you will have to pay a fine of Rs 5000.  Which was Rs 500 till now.  Apart from this, in the Drink & Drive case, the police can charge you a fine of up to Rs. 10,000.  Which was up to 2000 rupees earlier.

Impaired driving - 6 months to 1 year in jail for the first time / fine of 1-5 thousand rupees,

The second time is a 2 year jail / fine of Rs 10,000

Drink and drive - 6 months jail / 10 thousand fine in the first and 2 years jail / 15 thousand fine in the second

Racing and Speeding - 1 month jail / 500 fine for first time, 1 month jail for second time / 10 thousand fine

Driving without insurance - First time Rs 2,000 fine / 3 months jail, Second time Rs 4,000 fine / 3 months jail

For not giving way to the Emergency Services train - a fine of Rs. 10,000 / jail term up to 6 months from now or both.

Accident-linked errors - 6 months in jail / 5000 fine for first time, 1 year jail / 10 thousand fine for second time

Upon Minor's vehicle operation - a fine of 25,000 from now on, plus a 3-year prison sentence, vehicle registration can also be canceled for up to one year.  No driving license will be granted 25 years ago.

Even if you break the rules, your license may be forfeited as well as you may have to go to jail.  Know what the new Motor Vehicle Act has provisions for.  That you need to be careful of.

The usual fine - before was 100 rupees now 500 rupees

Not wearing a helmet - 100 rupees now fine of 1000 rupees and with 3 months license suspended

Driving without a driving license - First Rs 500 and now Rs 5000 fine

Overloading on two wheelers - first Rs 100 and now fine of Rs 2000 / license suspension for 3 months

On not having a belt - first Rs 100 and now Rs 1000

To talk on the phone while driving - First Rs 1000 and now Rs 5000 fine

Over speed - Rs. 400 before, Rs. 1-2 thousand on ordinary cars and Rs. 2-4 thousand on commercial vehicles and on other occasions the license is confiscated.
