Now RRB provides a one-time opportunity to candidates to correct/provide their bank account details. Candidates can update their bank details through the ‘Update Bank Account Link’ provided on the official website. The link will be available from March 22 to 28, 2019. SMS and email will also be sent to the registered mobile number and
email IDs to notify candidates to update their bank account details. Candidates are advised to make use of this opportunity to avoid difficulties in the future.
As per the information available on the website the ‘Update Bank Account Link’ was to be activated from 6:00 pm today, but the same was activated around late evening today. The candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates.
Candidate should ensure that the Bank account number and IFSC code entered are correct. Once submitted, candidates won’t be able to make changes in the bank account details given by them. The official notification reads “Candidates are requested to ensure that
the Bank Account Number and IFSC Code entered are correct and
advised to carefully check the Bank Account Details before submitting the same. It may be noted that modification of bank details after submission will not be possible. RRBs shall not be responsible for further failure of refund, if any, on account of incorrect details furnished by the candidates and will not entertain further correspondence in this regard.”
NEW DELHI: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) has initiated the refund of the examination fee to the candidates, who had attended Computer Based Test (CBT) for Level 1 Posts against CEN 02/2018.
RRB has now activated the link through which the candidates can update the details of their bank account for getting the refund of the application fee.
1. Incorrect bank details furnished by candidates such as incorrect account number, incorrect IFSC code of the bank branch, filling up of customer ID in place of account number etc.
2. Same account number furnished for a large number of candidates.
3. Account number not provided by the candidates
RRB was unable to initiate the refund for many candidates due to the following reasons. The notification on the RRB’s official website points out the following reasons.
