As per the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) it is advocated for the holistic development of the students that instead of considering only the textbook curriculum as sufficient, they should also acquire knowledge of global quality. Experiential learning is needed to make the studies students learn in school classrooms relevant to life.


It is also essential that students get ample opportunities to understand the course material and other important concepts, illustrations and concepts in the course material. For this, support education through online education and according to National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for 21st century skills Mathematical Reasoning, concept clarity, Project management, Research skills, Soft skills, Problem solving, Critical Thinking, Innovation, Communication skills, High order thinking , cognitive skills etc. are desirable.


National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NEP-2020) as one of the various efforts to implement the concept of science education in schools in 2023 in real form, to start a special online education project for the children of the state by joining with renowned organizations in the field of science. The matter was under consideration.


Among the organizations working in the field of innovation in technology and education, the "Eklavya Program" is being started in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology-IIT Gandhinagar, which has emerged as a premium institute in the country, to provide high quality supportive education to the children of the state.


Details of “Eklavya Program” :


Under the "Eklavya Programme", online sessions will be organized to clarify the concepts, concepts, paradigms and innovations underlying the learning process of mathematics and science among children.


17 + 17 = 34 online sessions of mathematics subject as per the attached list will be organized from the second academic session in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology- IIT Gandhinagar for class: 6 to 10.


This online session will be telecast once a week every Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00.


On the "Interactive panel" provided under the "Smart Classroom" in schools, this online session can be joined online from the link given below.






Information about this should be sent to all the schools in the district so that maximum number of children can benefit from this program.

(1) The Gujarat Civil Service (Pay) Rules, 2002 have made provisions relating to pay in the case of State Government employees. Among these rules, the following provision is made in Rule No. 39 (1):




“Subject to the provisions of Rules-11, 13, 15, 16, 19, 23, 30 and 44, all duty performed above the scale of pay shall count towards the allowances of that scale of pay. For the purpose of arriving at the next Ijafa date, add all the periods of service in the scale of pay not eligible for Ijafa to the normal Ijafa date.




But the ijafo will be payable from the first day of the month in which it accrues.”




2. The recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission promulgated by the Central Government were made applicable in the case of State Government and Panchayat employees vide the notification of the Finance Department: (2) According to these recommendations, the date of annual Ijafa was fixed on 01 July in case of each employee.




3. Name. The Supreme Court has ordered to give benefits to the employee who retired on 30th June by the judgment dated 11/04/2023.




Name of return of various petitions filed by the employees. The judgment of the High Court dated 02/08/2023 has asked the government to take a decision by 18/09/2023. So, taking into account the judgments of the High Court and the Supreme Court, in the case of employees who retired on 30th June after the year 2006, the matter of providing a notional gratuity at the time of retirement was under the consideration of the Government.

In the case of State Government and Panchayat Service employees who have completed one year of service on 30th June after the coming into force of the Pay Revision Rules, 2009 on 09/01/2006, the following




It is decided to assess a notional loss subject to conditions. (1) In case of employees retiring/retiring on 30th June, one year of service should have been completed.




(2) In the case of employees who have retired from 01/01/2006 to 31/12/2022, the Notional Ejafo Akari Pension shall be revised on 30 June. Dt. In the case of employees who have retired/retired after 01/01/2023, the compensation pension has to be revised on 30th June.




(3) The actual benefit of pension revision made as per this notional surplus will be available from 01/07/2023.




(4) In case of employees who are/are going to retire on 30th June, whether benefits are really available? Necessary instructions regarding the service details to be verified will be issued separately.




(5) Even in cases where a petition has been filed in the High Court by an employee to get the same benefit and is currently under judgment i.e. the judgment has not been passed, the benefit of ijafa has to be given as per this resolution.




(6) Implementation of this resolution to Panchayat Service employees and grant-in-aid institutions




of the Finance Department to grant the benefit of the Sixth Pay Commission in the case of employees




The same should be done in the case of those who have been given permission.

Returning to the above topic, the transfer rules of Assistant/Professional Teacher have been promulgated by the reference resolution of the Education Department. As per the order of this office dated 22/08/2023 of this office dated 31/07/2023 approved in this year according to the change of Deputy Head/Primary Teacher during the period mentioned below.              According to the above subject and context, to state that under the National Education Policy 2020, Apun Bharat Abhiyan is implemented by the Government of India for the development of basic literacy and numeracy skills, under which basic reading and writing among children during three years of pre-primary and three years of class 1 to 3. -Various programs are conducted to develop numeracy skills. Sadar Mission has been launched nationwide on 5th July, 2021. This campaign will be implemented till the year 2026-27 as per NEP-2020.


        This mission is regularly monitored by the Government of India. Last year the baseline educational assessment was conducted in our state. If this type of assessment is done this year, teachers and students will be aware about it and necessary remedial work can be done. Therefore, such an educational survey will be conducted this year as well.


            In this regard, in the year 2023-24 students of class 1 to 4 in the mastery India guidelines contained in the developmental goal- 1- EC- Child becomes an effective communicator (Language) and developmental goal- 3-- Children learn by themselves and connect with their immediate environment' (Mathematics). Educational status has to be done to assess achievement. For which the following things have to be considered.


                The survey is to be conducted in July, year 2023-24, covering all eight mediums of the state (Gujarati, English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi and Tamil, Telugu and Oriya) and To be conducted in all types of (government, aided and self-supporting) schools. * Sadar survey has to be conducted in class 1 to 4. The assessment tool prepared by GCERT, Gandhinagar will have to be used for the children entering class 1 taking into account the learning outcomes of Balwatika, learning outcomes of class 1 in class 2, learning outcomes of class 2 in class 3 and learning outcomes of class 3 in class 4.

                      Education Department, State of Gujarat has studied continuously from class 1 to 8 in government or aided primary schools and completed class 8 and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE Act, 2009) and children formed under it Under the Right to Compulsory Education Rules, 2012, under the provision of free education to the children of 6 to 14 years of age from weaker sections and underprivileged groups in independent schools to the extent of 25% of the class size, who have completed their studies in independent schools in class-I and completed their studies consecutively up to class-8. Students whose income at the time of the Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Examination of the student's parents is below the income limit prescribed for admission under Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act, 2009, among the students who are meritorious students who are admitted to secondary schools in Class-9 and who have received education up to Class-I For that, the Chief Minister Shri Gyan Sadhana Merit Scholarship Scheme has been implemented to select such brilliant students of Gujarat state and give them scholarships for studying in self-supporting/granted/government schools of their choice from class 9 to 12. In this scheme, every year 25,000 bright students will be selected on the basis of merit in this examination and they will be given scholarship for their studies from class 9 to 1.


                   Under this scheme, the Chief Minister Gyan Sadhana Merit Scholarship Examination was organized by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar on 11/06/2023. There was a huge response from the state for this exam. A total of 2,02,853 students gave this exam. The result of this exam is declared today on 23/06/2013.

The admit cards will be made available as per date decided by NVS in due course which will be displayed on application portal. The admit cards shall be downloaded free of cost by the candidates/parents before the conduct of JNVST.


2.3 Result of the Selection Test


The result of JNV Selection Test 2024 is expected to be announced by March/April, 2024. Candidates can get the result from the application portal. The result will also be displayed in the offices of the concerned:

iv. Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti of the Region.


v. The website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti www.navodaya.gov.in The Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya concerned, will also inform the provisionally selected candidates through SMS on the registered mobile number followed by a speed post.


NVS will release only two wait lists against vacancies which may arise due to unwillingness and non-submission of basic essential certificates by the provisionally selected candidates. The entire admission process for the session 2024-25 will be closed latest by 31 December, 2024.


PROVISIONAL SELECTION AND ADMISSION


3.1) Provisional selection in the test will not vest any right on the candidate to secure admission into the JNV. At the time of seeking actual admission, each provisionally selected candidate will have to produce all relevant original certificates, as prescribed by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Until admission, the selection is provisional only. Candidates are advised to apply for TC from parent school, only after the verification of documents and confirmation of admission by the respective JNV.


3.2) In case of any dispute, the decision of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence to this effect shall be entertained.


3.3) There is no provision for re-evaluation of the answer scripts or re-totaling of marks, since the result is processed through computer and sufficient care is taken to ensure accuracy through various checks while processing the result.


3.4) It may also be noted by the candidates and their parents that under the scheme of NVS, students of a JNV located in Hindi speaking State may have to be migrated to another JNV in Non-Hindi Speaking State and vice- versa for one academic year when the students are promoted to Class IX. In case of refusal by the students/ parents selected for migration, continuation of such students in JNV will not be allowed.


3.5) The candidates and their parents may note that the children provisionally selected on the basis of the Test will be admitted, only in the JNV located in the district from where they are residing and studying in class V and appearing for the JNVST. Under no circumstances, the provisionally selected candidate will be given admission to any other JNV. No request for shifting of students on account of medium of instruction in the JNV concerned, shifting of parents to other districts / States etc. will be entertained. All provisionally selected candidates must submit the residence proof of the district where he/she has studied class V and


SOME IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR UPLOADING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM


The online application form for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya


is self-explanatory. However, following guidelines may be specifically kept in view by the students and their parents.


1. Only bonafide resident candidates of the district where the JNV is located are permitted to appear for JNVST in the District where he/she is studying in class V.

2. That the candidate fulfills all the prescribed requirements such as date of birth within specified range (01.05.2012 to 31.07.2014), schooling in classes III, IV & V in recognized institution(s). (Govt. / Govt. Aided / Recognized / NIOS etc.).


3. Carefully fill the certificate to be uploaded along with the application form with regard to category ie. General. SC. ST. OBC & Divyang, Boy/Girl and Rural/Urban. If it is found at the time of admission that a candidate has opted a category to which he/she does not actually belong. his/her selection will be cancelled. The signature & seal of Head Master is mandatory on the certificate to be uploaded in the registration portal.



4.  Mention the date of birth in figures as well as in words. Write correct Date of Birth as per birth certificate & school records. In case, if it is observed at a later stage that the Date of Birth of the candidate does not match with the school records & birth certificate, his/her candidature is liable to be rejected. NVS has the right to validate the information submitted using Aadhaar number from the Government portal. (b) Permanent identification marks which can be identified clearly shall be mentioned in the Application Form by the candidate.



5. Signature of both, the candidate and the parent/guardian should be uploaded while applying for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test. 6. The last date to submit online application for test is 10th August, 2023.


CAUTION: Application form is liable for rejection, if columns are left blank or the entries are incomplete. Applicants should ensure that they fulfill all the prescribed requirements of education, age, categories (SC/ST/OBC/Divyang) and area (Urban/Rural) wherever applicable. If any information filled in the online application form is found to be false/ incorrect/mismatched on subsequent verification, even after the selection of the candidate, the admission is liable to be cancelled and the decision of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will be final and binding. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. B. Applicable for the candidates who studied in NIOS (to prove the residence in the district and also to support the category of candidate i.e. rural/urban)

To make necessary arrangements from the district level keeping in mind the following instructions and the duration of the competition involved is stated.

3) School level competition: All the first school level will have to organize the painting, children's, music (singing and playing) competition to be held under Kala Utsav. First, second and third place contestants are to be selected at the school level and only the first place winner from each section will be entered in the CRC/ QDC. 4) Cluster | Q.D.C. Level Competition : Cluster | Q.D.C. Based on the entries of the first rank contestants for the various competitions from the schools held at the level, the first, second and third rank contestants shall be selected and out of them only the entry of the first rank winning contestant from each division will be entered in the Taluka / SVS. To be sent for level competition.




5) Taluka / S.V.S. Level Competition: The first, second and third place contestants shall be selected from among the first, second and third place contestants from the Taluka level based on the entries of the first place contestants for various competitions from the cluster/QDC level and only the entry of the first place winner from each section will be entered at the district level. To be sent for competition. Taluka level competition is coordinated by Taluka Primary Education Officer, B.R.C. CO and S.V.S. Will stay with the convener.

During the monsoon season, it becomes necessary to take necessary precautionary measures in advance to avoid any accidents in the school and also to be vigilant about school safety. So all the schools/KGBVs/Hostels etc. in your district to make necessary preparations before the onset of monsoon season and to take precautionary measures to be vigilant regarding school safety, give the following written instructions to all school principals.


(1) Cleaning the water spout on the roof or terrace before monsoon and periodically during monsoon.


(2) Moving old furniture or other goods on the roof or roof to a suitable place.


(3) To remove the branches of trees in the school grounds which are bent or about to fall.


(4) If the electric wires are open or there is any wiring problem in the school, repairs should be done by SMC immediately. Installation of MCB/ELCB etc. as technically required. Expenditure from available school grants.


(5) During the monsoon season, the Principal and the teachers without the prior approval of the Taluka Primary Education Officer.not leaving the headquarters,

(13) To check whether there is a fire safety system in the school and to use it properly the teacher and To check whether the students have been trained or not.


(14) If there is an underground water tank, arrange a barrier or fencing around it and keep it covered so that Children, public or animals should not be accident victims.


(15) Rainwater harvesting systems, water tanks, septic tanks, cesspools should be provided near the school to the children.


Don't let go and put up a board indicating the notice to this effect.


(16) If the school tank is kept open, it should be fitted with a lockable lid and placed in the ground.But if the water is full, take necessary measures to prevent mosquito infestation.



(17) Provision of speed breakers if the main road passes outside the school and sign boards regarding the school on both sides of the road.


(18) All precautionary measures shall be taken by the SMC as well as during the construction period in the school premises to prevent obstruction, disturbance and damage to the residents of adjoining buildings and houses in the vicinity.


The monopolist shall undertake at his own expense and risk.


(19) All precautionary measures to prevent any damage to other existing structures in the school compound during the construction period and to prevent any damage or injury to students/teachers or other employees/visitors studying in the school shall be taken by the SMC and the proprietor at their own expense and risk taking will be



 (20) When construction is to be started in a working school, by erecting a barricade or fencing at the construction site, to make arrangements so that children do not go to that side and for the safety of the children, the principal and teachers of the schoolI inform this matter in writing.

Will not suffer an accident. (22) Keeping construction materials in order. So that there is no hindrance in the movement of children.

A “Mission School of Excellence Project” is operational in the state under the “Gujarat Out Comes of Accelerated Learning” (GOAL) programme. Under this project, some schools in the state have been selected as “Light House” schools by the Vidya Review Centre.

In relation to the above topic, the National Education Policy 2020 recommends that “Bagless Days shall be promoted throughout the year for various enrichment activities including arts, quizzes, sports and handicrafts for the students of class 1 to 5 as part of these Bangless Days. One day child mela and one day life skill based child mela is organized for students of class 6 to 8.

In this regard, GCERT organizes children's fair activities in two sections every year to impart various life skills to the students. Out of which a children's fair is organized for the students of class 1 to 5 and a life skill based children's fair is organized for the students of class 6 to 8. Through the Balmela and Lifeskills based Balmela activities

Students are engaged in children's stories, pottery, painting, craft work, embroidery, paper work,

Various like swallowing, children story based play, teaching of various life skills

Efforts to bring out strengths in students through activities and games Is performed.

The grant for conducting Child Mela and Life Skill Mela will be notified from here and the grant allotment form will be sent. After allotment of the grant, the dates for conducting the Bal Mela and Life Skills will be informed, planning will have to be done accordingly.

Bal Mela and Life Skill Mela have to be organized keeping in mind the following instructions.

1. In the year-2023-2024 Gujarat state government primary schools, schools managed by Nagar Primary Education Committee, Ashramshala, KGBV, Model School on the first day of St. Children's Mela for children from 1 to 5 and on the second day St. A lifeskill fair has to be organized for the children of 6 to 8 years

2, Children fair and life skill fair should be organized in the school for the purpose of making the school children aware of various activities and getting fun and activity oriented education.

3. Before the activity of Bal Mela and Life Skill Mela, the teacher should demonstrate that activity. After that, planning according to rotation in different groups so that every child of the school can participate in the different activities of Bal Mela and Life Skill Mela.
