The Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA) has sent the School

 Introduction:

The Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA) has sent the School Disaster Risk Management Plan (SDRMP) to the entire Shiksha Kachari vide letter number (1) read.

To strengthen security resilience against disaster risk at the school level. The School Disaster Risk Management Plan (SORMP) has been updated in accordance with SFDRR 2015-2030, NDMA's National School Safety Policy Guidelines-2016 and Ministry of Education's School Safety and Security Guidelines-2021. And the updated new plan is said to be speedily implemented in state schools.

A single window file read by the entire Shiksha Kachari was proposed from No. (2) for approving the Sadar Plan and implementing it in the state schools. The matter was under consideration.

Resolution:

After mature consideration, it is resolved to approve the updated new plan (English and Gujarati) of School Disaster Risk Management Plan (SDRMP) attached herewith (Annexure-I) and to implement this updated plan in all schools of the State.

These orders are issued vide note dated 15/07/2022 on file of the same number of this department.
