Story-telling passed knowledge, values, and skills from one generation to the next. The Government of Gujarat has approved DTH for programs related to education, skill enhancement, women's empowerment, computer training, health, agriculture and animal husbandry, departmental training and extension, digital knowledge, hygiene campaigns, etc. under the program "Vande Gujarat".
For the transmission of these channels, the state government has set up two studios, two-channel base band set-up, content development facilities as well as two digital uplink Earth-stations (teleport) at Bisseg. Gujarat is the only state with such facilities. Broadcasting of 17 channels under "Vande Gujarat" is available on television's "DD Free Dish" (DTH) and on cellphone "JioTV" app.
