Election Commission of India - New Delhi  Regarding the date of eligibility of 1/1/2017, the 'Special Voter Brief Amendment' program -2017 has been announced for the purpose of preparing the voter lists of all 182-Legislative Constituencies of the State.  Program  From 15/9 hrs.  Runs up to 14/10 which includes Ta.  The names of all eligible citizens 18 years of age or older will be included in the electoral rolls, with 1/1 qualification status.  In addition, detailed planned action will be taken to remove shortcomings and incomplete list defects in the existing voter lists.

Except for registration of new names in voter list, form no.  6 Fill out the form no.  Fill 7, change details, form no.  8 have to be submitted.  Any of these forms can be filled online at the website www.ceo.gujarat.gov.in.  Any of these forms may be submitted to the Voter Facility Center as well as to the Booth Level Officer.  For the best performance.  18/9, Ta.  25/9 and Ta.  The booth level officer of the concerned booth will be present at each polling station under the special campaign on 9/10, from 10 am to 6 pm, to whom the form may be submitted.  The request is made by the Deputy District Election Officer, Porbandar for all citizens to take advantage of the scheme and make the national program a success.

The Collector and District Election Officer is the controlling officer of all elections in the district.  He is the election officer for the parliamentary constituency.  Non-officers of the rank below the rank of Deputy Collector are appointed as Election Officer for the Constituent Assembly.  Generally, the electoral officers of the constituency of the Assembly are the Assistant Election Officers for the parliamentary elections.

 Generally, the Collector is appointed as the Election Officer for the conduct of the Lok Sabha elections, and the Deputy Collector is appointed as Assistant Election Officer to assist the Collector.

 The Collector has all the controlling powers as the District Election Officer for the conduct of the Assembly elections and the Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Officers are appointed as the election officers of each Assembly constituency.
