Farmers will get a bigger gift from the government. Jharkhand farmer is now able to know the weather forecast, along with agriculture technology, through smartphones. Jharkhand Government is going to pay the farmers for the purchase of smartphones to state farmers. An official from Jharkhand Agriculture Department said on Thursday that beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will get an extra amount of Rs 2000 in Jharkhand. Throughout the country, the Prime Minister is giving three installments of two thousand to two thousand farmers in Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, while in Jharkhand, their number is four.

Government Jharkhand will hire more than 50,000 farmers to buy a B-2 thousand rupees in their bank accounts to buy a smartphone. The government has also allocated the amount for them. This benefit will be available to the farmers who have registered themselves in the National Agricultural Market (e-name). State Agriculture Minister Randhir Kumar Singh said that the government believed that many farmers of Jharkhand are now away from the smartphone. With the availability of smartphones by the government, farmers will be able to get information related to agriculture, as well as weather predictions and natural disasters related to agriculture.
He said that the Agriculture Directorate and Jharkhand State Agricultural Marketing Council will coordinate the amount of the scheme by co-ordinating the farmers. The list of registration will be given to the market committee in the PM Farmer Honor Award from the level of Agricultural Director and these farmers will be registered in e-name. He said that as the farmers will be registered, the amount will be sent in their account
